Aston Martin Vantage Engine

This happens when a loose bolt from a weber carburator enters the #8 cylinder. Luckely the bore was undamaged, bombed combustion chamber of the head is already welded, new valves fitted and new standard size piston installed. Hopefully there is enough time that the 385hp Vantage engine will rumble in Josephs '71 Aston Martin DBV8 this summer.

Still to do:
  • weld windage tray
  • assemble and clean engine
  • install in car
