440 T&C engine ready for installation

The overhauled 75' 440 T&C engine is given a new home in a 72' Charger the next days.
Engine has STD bore size mild streetable Crane cam 114LSA and about .500 lift, topped with 2.14 IN, 1.81 EX hardened seat insert 906 heads and Mopar dualplane intake. Nothing fancy for longlasting troublefree operation.

On the picture you see the engine was given a trial fit of the hilborn injector manifold to take measurements for my future Jensen 500ci EFI Hilborn project.

Monza 2005

Monza final race of the season. This racetrack is very hard on the brakes.
A 40mph turn after a full throttle 145mph straight. The Mustang #69 was prepared with new Ferodo DS3000 racing pads up front in favor of the Wilwood A pads mainly of cost reasons. I renewed the complete brake hardware in the back with new drums, shoes, etc. Brake system was bleeded with new DOT5 silicone fluid. New Good Year BlueStreak tires, ready to Go!
